Established (informally) in 2015 by an eastern Ohio native who moved to Columbus in 1999…and LOVED it!
I moved here at the age of 19 to work and go to school. Coming from an economically depressed region with literally nothing to do, Columbus was a huge improvement that has only gotten bigger and better.
Some mock my enthusiasm for this city. I am unbothered. In my nearly 26 years here, I have forged relationships with people from Columbus, elsewhere in the state, the country, and all over the world. To me, that’s what life is about, the people with whom we connect.
So about the shirts…One of my dearest friends owns a custom t-shirt printing business. In 2015 I had him print some shirts for an event and as a collector of t-shirts, I was hooked. I began gifting friends and family shirts I designed for them. It should be said that I was often more excited about the gifts than they were. I kept “designing” very basic shirts and sold a few on Etsy. Eventually I built my own basic site which you see today. You can also find my shirts, hoodies, and totes at Nielsen’s gift shop in the Columbus Convention Center.
About me, I am a single mother of four children and two pomeranians. All six are beautiful, brilliant, and quite annoying at times. But most of the time, they are the reason I smile. And ALL of the time, they are my reason to live. They are all musicians, artists, and tech junkies. Sorry, not the dogs. The dogs are nappers, yappers, and treat seekers. I am an entrepreneur, a mental health advocate, and a terrible golfer. I am the founder of #airport4life (not accepting new members) and an Experience Columbus Insider. I love to experience new people, places, and things and I love to show visitors and newcomers around our great city.
